Q
What is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®)?
A Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) is an award-winning hybrid therapy, based on neuroscience that combines the best of psychotherapy such a Gestalt, with other modalities such as NLP, hypnotherapy, CBT and IFS to deliver, fast and lasting relief from physical, psychological and emotional challenges.

RTT® was developed by renowned award-winning therapist and best selling author Marisa Peer, who started her career in traditional psychotherapy. She soon identified that clients needed much faster results than traditional psychotherapy could offer. Her process was refined over a 30 year career through hands-on experience, determining what successfully created real change in her clients. RTT® enables clients to access the root cause of their issue, which is often hidden from their conscious mind. This facilitates transformative change.

Q
How does RTT® work?
A The transformative power of RTT® comes from its unique ability to help you uncover the root cause of why you feel the way that you do. This usually occurs within the first session. Helping you to understand how, when and why you acquired the limiting beliefs and habits that are holding you back is extremely empowering. At this time many clients experience a real ‘AHA’ moment when they finally understand themselves at a much deeper level than ever before. This insight into your own psyche is often significant enough to initiate serious change, however we then reframe the beliefs and utilise the scientific principles of neuroplasticity to instil new positive and beneficial beliefs in a way that creates new neural pathways and lasting changes.
Q
What happens in an RTT® session?
AYour session will commence with a 30 minute zoom call. The purpose of this is to find out more about you and gain a complete understanding into your presenting problem, your symptoms and triggers and ascertain exactly what you’d like to achieve from your session.

We will then schedule your complete session which is generally between 1.5 to 2 hours in length, this is also conducted via zoom. (See more info re: zoom below)

During the session you will be gently guided into a deep, hypnotic state. This is simply described as a feeling of total relaxation. The hypnotic state allows your thinking mind to switch off and your sub-conscious mind to become accessible. A variety of techniques including regression are then used to help derive the information we need to help you overcome your problem and move forward into the life you deserve. At all times you remain fully in control and able to respond and answer questions as though we were just talking. In fact many clients say they don’t feel any different and often question if they’re actually under hypnosis. They are then surprised when their sub conscious mind easily responds with information they know they were not consciously aware of.

The session closes with a 15-20 minute transformation to install new belief systems that are empowering and beneficial. You will then be provided with a recording of this transformation to listen to for 21 days as it takes 21 days to form a new habit.

Most issues can be resolved with client’s obtaining long-lasting change within 1 – 3 sessions.

Q
How can you do an RTT® hypnosis session via Zoom?
A Hypnosis over the internet may seem strange but in actual fact, RTT® as well a general Hypnotherapy sessions conducted via zoom are often much more effective. The reason for this is that you’re able to relax to a much deeper level in the comfort of your own home or in familiar surroundings. Not having to leave your home has many other benefits, generally hours are more flexible, so you may be able to book a night-time session after children have gone to sleep etc when you wouldn’t normally have the ability to attend a clinic.  You can also dress much more comfortably – I have conducted many sessions with clients in their pyjamas, and you have also eliminated any stress that may have arisen from the additional time, traffic and parking that travelling to a clinic can create. In addition, I also believe that zoom sessions are highly beneficial for clients who would normally have a tendency to hold back as the physical distance from the therapist allows them to feel more open. If you’re wondering whether it’s safe? Yes absolutely! As explained above during hypnosis you will always feel completely in control, should the internet connection drop out or similar, you will simply bring yourself out of the hypnotic state.
Q
What if I can’t be hypnotised?
A Many clients come to me with the belief that they can’t be hypnotised and are very quickly proved wrong.  This is perhaps due to a misconception that hypnosis is some kind of altered state of mind. In fact you generally feel no different, other than more relaxed.  If you have tried hypnosis in the past with other therapists and had a difficult time entering hypnosis we will commence treatment with a recording to help train your mind for a week or so prior to the session which is generally very successful.
Q
What if I have more than one issue I’d like to address?
A Generally speaking each issue requires a separate RTT® session to determine the root cause and what lies beneath the problem you’re experiencing. You will then focus on reprogramming your core beliefs related to that problem for 21 days – the minimum period of time required to form new habits and beliefs. Occasionally we will find that more than one problem is related to the same root cause. In our initial consultation we will discuss the changes you’d like to make in your life and the recommended number of sessions that may be required.

If you’re looking for substantial change in your life, the ‘Transform Your Life in 60 Days’ package is highly recommended.
